Design Wall Monday January 3 2011
It is the first design wall of 2011! My wall is full of scraps from the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I am either going to need to get a bigger design wall or finish something off to make room for more scrap projects. I think the snowballs are about ready to be put together but then I need to decide whether to leave the string blocks alone or turn them into stars. Given the number of blue scraps I'm trying to use up I could do both! Make sure you head over to Judy's blog to see what everyone is up to in the new year.

Lovely, snowball and 9 patch has always been one of my favorite patterns.
All of your blocks are great. I like the snowball quilt. Opportunity for some gorgeous quilting in the white centers.
Great scrap projects.
You are really on a roll! Way to go with the blue scraps!
blue is the color of the day! Love them all !
I'm so impressed you were the first one to post! Wow. I'm late today as dh is home and we went to the gym first thing. I like your snow balls. Are you going to put the string blocks as a border around the snowballs? Maybe put a single fabric as a small border between the two types of blocks... just thinkin' out loud here... B.
Your snowball blocks look awesome! That is a wonderful way to use up scraps!

Just beautiful and wintry - love the stars with the string center!
Nice design wall - I really like the string centered star. Go blue!
Great projects.
Love your snowballs, beautiful! I just finished a blue scrap runner and put it on my blog. Thanks for the challenge!
Looking good! Oh, all those blue scraps you are using. This month I'm doing yellow. Love Anne's project too!
I use so little blue in my sewing that I'd be hard pressed to come up with this many pieces! Looking very scrappy and good.
I like the star blocks that you made with the strings
I like all your ideias...
