I made a quilt out of random leftovers. There are three in line to quilt, but this one is in there somewhere. There is still more than a week left in January though, which means one more blue Saturday after today. It works out well to have a long blue month, hopefully that means you have more time to dig to the bottom of your blue scrap bin. I think for most of us on the east coast of the United States, home in the sewing room will be a very good place to be this weekend. I can see the palm trees swaying in the bridge and we have already seen our high temperature for the day. Hot tea and scraps of fabric sounds like a great plan to me. Misterlinky is below, please share your own scrappy blue progress with us all.

It's a great day for indoors, sewing and blue! Yay!
I just measured six inches of snow outside and I'd rather sew than shovel :)
We are used to snow and cold where I live but I will hunker down in my sewing room today too - you know - in sympathy. ;) We all have to do our part to support each other!
I really enjoy seeing bunch of blue scraps put together into a beautiful quilt. It is so beautiful and soothing at the same time. I have a couple of blue scrappy quilts that need to be quilted.
Oops - forgot to say that your leftover project is really pretty.
Random Leftover quilt are the best! Freezing temps and snow and high winds are pretty much the norm here in the winter!
Wind and snow here are just 'getting back to normal', unlike the temps in the 40's that we've been having since fall. Hunkering down for a sewing day still sounds good, though!
Stay warm!
Leftovers quilt is jolly nice! Hot tea and scraps always sounds good to me - enjoy yours.
No snow in Chicagoland -- in fact, I see blue skies out the window.
And, speaking of blue, this week's finished quilt is just that. I hope everyone is safe, warm, and dry -- and that you all have electricity!
good morning! no snow for us (NE PA) but it's cold and dreary. I'm headed to the sewing room... quick question, though... on the row/column quilt for this year: I'm going to do mine in kona solids (can't wait!!!) and I have a question about the corner triangles. I'm planning on using grey for my background, (which really isn't part of the question, but I think it's going to look really cool)if we use the COM for the corner triangles on the completed blocks, is it going to look ok? I was thinking of using black.... what do you think? did you make a diagram of the rows- how do you think those different colors on the corners will look? will they look all jumbled? will the black (on mine) give your eye a place to rest?
so many questions! thanks for your input! (hope all that made sense!)
Great project! No snow here in Iowa.....thank goodness!
I´ve started building my city!!!!
Your blue "leftovers" made a beautiful quilt! Seems like my leftovers go into a bin and never see the light of day!!
Today is a perfect day to stay in also! It's absolutely beautiful outside here in Texas, , but when I see my neighbors flag flying straight out, I know I'd better stay inside!!
Have a great sew day!
Hi Angela I've gathered most of my scraps together (I hope) and am joining in again this year. I love all of your blue projects. The big snow storm went south and east of me, but I'm going to stay in and sew today anyhow.
One of the 'problems' with the RSC is that you see so many other blocks or designs that you wish you were making LOL. But I love my wonky stars and so for now they are "it" for me. Enjoy the the last week of the blues.
So many lovely blues! I photographed in the snow for the first time for my complete blue scrappy blocks.
You have started this year off with a bang! You have accomplished so much. I love your blues!
Well I for one will have no problem finding more blues for next week!
Some beautiful links here to visit - it's going to take some time!
Great to see some many blue scrap projects under way. Love the little blue triangles quilt.
Stay safe and warm!
The 12 inches of snow has forced me to take stock of my sewing room and get my blue scraps organized!
I can't believe you have another quilt done while hosting this link party and working! In my favourite colours too
Love the idea of a scrappy left over quilt. Looks so nice from here. Hope you aren't blown away by the storm.
It's raining here..time to be indoors and sewing.
Am I too late to join in?
thinking of you all over in the snow, home is the best place to be so plenty of time for stitching. Pin wheels look great
Definitely no snow here in Adelaide, Australia!
Hope you got lots of good stitching time in yesterday. The left over blues quilt turned out beautifully!
Your quilt of leftovers looks better than many that are planned from the beginning. I love the border.
