Scraphappy Saturday - Orange you Glad its a Weekend?

It is a wet and rainy weekend, the kind that would be perfect for holing up in the sewing room and whiling away the day.  I'm not sure what we'll do with our company, but I'm guessing that we won't be out and about too much today.  I saw the cutest pattern for a paper pieced candy corn block at Stash Manicure a few days ago.that I think I would play with if I were sewing.  It would make a nice little mug run.  I'm not sure paper piecing is really necessary, I think free form and wonky would be really cute as well.  Instead I've pulled out some hand quilting so that I can be sociable.   Use the linky box below to share your Scraphappy progress.

Mmm Candy corn - the perfect subject for the orange month - except that noone knows what candy corn is here is Oz. I do though and I might make some pot holders for an American friend!

Thanks for the links for the candy corn. Now is the time for this kind of project.

Sorry to hear about the poor weather but I am sure you will still have a wonderful time with your company. This weekend is our Thanksgiving (Monday) and we are having really nice weather for our long-weekend - yaayy!

My Rainbow Scrap challenge has taken a major halt over the past couple of months :( Darnit!
But maybe I'll sneak some orange in when (if) I work on the Fall Buckeye Beauty blocks.
