Merry Christmas

I fear that someday soon the kids will be too old for Christmas pajamas.  For now though, we continue on with the same traditions.  I think we are all holding on for as long as we can.  Another Christmas has come and gone, the kids are all happily camped out in the toy room playing with slightly more grown up versions of presents.  I hope that you all had a great holiday with time to spend with family and friends.  Next week is officially the LAST rainbow scrap challenge of 2016, but I will have a new color ready to roll just in case you all want to get a head start.  In case you are all still finishing up though, I'd love to see some bragging about all the great rainbow scrap projects we have all accomplished this year.  Until then, rest, relax, and enjoy the last few days of 2016.

I agree, I have 30 somethings that still wear them if given. so Hurrah for us Mom's that make things that are still used and loved long after they are little children. I made pillowcases this year and all of them were really happy about it, children and grandchildren both! Happy holidays to you and yours and thank you for all the inspiration you create on your blog!

Hi Angela, I participated in your 2016 scrap challenge. I wanted to post a picture of the quilt I made but I'm unable to get a picture on the soscrappy page. I'm not very computer savy and I can't figure out how to post a picture on your blog. I'm not a blogger.

I love to get new pj's for Christmas. This was always a tradition in our family too when I was young. The only difference, my mom did not sew, so she bought me a new pair every year. You are never too old for Christmas PJ's. Merry Christmas (late) and Happy New Year to you and your family.

I think the kids are as reluctant to give up the traditions as we are to see them go. At least mine is that way. Enjoy your winter break. Hope you are getting in some good stitching time.

Great picture. My kids always get pjs from my mom. I was just laying out the 2016 rows to figure out what order to sew them in. Looking forward to 2017. Almost time to dump out the scrap bins and sort by color. They are out of control again.

Pjs or lounge pants are always popular around here even with the adult kids. Plus, it's tradition and kids love traditions. My grandmother used to buy everyone a new pack of socks each Christmas. After she was gone that is one of the things the kids always talk about around Christmas time. That and the fact that she used LOTS of tape to wrap presents lol.
