ScrapHappy Saturday -- Welcome to Fall

I'm playing with mini log cabin blocks today.  I was originally thinking of grouping all the colors into groups of 4.  I think that is called sunshine and shadows.  But then I thought it would be fun to try this row setting - straight furrows.  Maybe barn raising would be more fun?  I printed some more of the paper piecing templates, so making more blocks can come before the making a decision part.  Share your progress using misterlinky below.

Log cabin blocks always go together nicely whatever layout you choose. I love the movement in these scrappy ones.

That's one drawback to the fun of quilt making: all the decisions that can be made! So many options, so little time (or energy as the case may be).

Log cabins are probably one of the best scrap busters. I haven't yet made one but I sure do admire them every time I see one. Yours is looking great!
