Not So Slow on Sunday

Handwork in the only kind of sewing I've been up to lately.  I got the first two diamonds done on the way to our first layover in New York on the way to Paris.  Two more then completed on the long flight to Paris, though it was overnight and I tried to sleep most of the way.

A bit more sewing happened on the train from Paris to Barcelona.  Rather more than I had planned actually as there were a few delays.  They gave us a nice box lunch though, and we all got a bit of a nap on the trip.
I'm all packed up again now, and still had plenty of hexies prepped.  I'll just remove the finished diamonds and be off again.  This week I am grading AP essays in Kansas City.  I think the flight is not quite 3 hours, so there will be time for a few more hexies today for sure.
I'm going to link up with Kathy today for Slow Stitching Sunday.  Its been a while since I checked in, so it will be nice to see what progress everyone has made.

Hope you are over the sickness and can enjoy reading all those AP papers this week... and the hand stitching in the evenings. Safe travels to you.
