ScrapHappy Saturday

It feels like fall in Florida. I was at car loop yesterday and wasn't sweating!  Then this classic car came through all decked out for Halloween and I just had to smile.

I couldn't do any graduate school work on Monday when the AWS outage affected Canvas which is the learning management system that we use. I took advantage of that down time to play with hexies a little bit. I didn't get any new blocks finished, but I fondled fabric and did organizing and planning.
Today we are watching the tropics. Florida is fine, but Jamaica is not looking good, and we have a trip booked there in just a few weeks. That will be interesting!
How is your weekend shaping up?

Perfect pivot on Monday during the AWS collapse. I worked on hand stitching my binding. Always good to have a project that can be done without the computer or electricity.

I love seeing the skeletons that show up all over town at this time of year! People are so creative with them. Have a great weekend, Angela!

Way to be positive on the AWS outage. Hope the storm doesn't mess with your down time.

Now that is a great car for car line! Glad you were able to stitch a bit on Monday. The kids said school was interesting as most things are on canvass. Last night - after school lights were flickering in the band room, then it filled with smoke and an electrical smell. After the game, all lights to the school campus (not the football field) were shut off for safety. Loved the sheriff who drove over and had his headlights shining into the band room for the kids. Will be interesting to see if it's fixed for Monday -).

What a way to decorate for Halloween! People are creative! I'm glad you were able to fondle fabric during the power outage. I'm glad the outage didn't last long.

oh no it sounds like your trip to Jamaica might be cancelled depending on damage. I love the car!

Whenever I see someone working on hexies I want to jump right in, too! Cute tin-full of hexies!

It's always fun to see how people decorate for Halloween. So glad Florida was spared, but it's not looking good in Jamaica right now. Hope you got in lots of stitching this week.
