ScrapHappy Saturday not too BLUE

I can't believe I have gone from one Scraphappy Saturday to the next without a post in between!  Just three days of school left and I will have lots of time to catch up again. Well, first I'll clean everything up for company, then I will catch up.  I did sew last weekend though, finishing up gobs of crumb blocks and working on itty-bitty nine patches for most of Sunday.
I love making these little blocks, even if they never turn into a quilt, the process of putting them together is so relaxing.  What blue plans do you have going on today?  Use misterlinky below to share your projects.

I know what you mean about making little blocks. One day you will have enough to make an awesome quilt.

I can imagine you have been very busy these last weeks of school.
Love your little blue blocks. I find playing with my boxes of scraps very relaxing, too. I could play a long, LONG time with my blue scraps.

Yippee, summer vacation. Your little blue blocks are adorable. I'm sure they'll add up and if you get impatient, there's always small quilts, mug rugs, table toppers, etc. They won't go to waste.

My DH is a teacher so he and DS are in countdown mode too... aah summer! I could sew for months using my blues.

I like how you think... that even if the blocks never become a quilt, the process is so relaxing, that it doesn't really matter!

How exciting - summer vacation is nearly here for you.

Nine patches are such versatile blocks. I am pretty sure your cute little blue blocks will find a place in a future quilt.

My husband teaches and I teach one day a week, so my whole house is counting down too! I'm looking forward to a little more sewing time once I have the garden completely planted.

I decided I needed (lol) to make some lil beach houses from my "made" fabric. I was able to get 15 out of just 3 pieces--scrap-tastic!! Next will be setting them...hugs, Julierose

I've been enjoying these posts and seeing what everyone has been making with their color challenges.

I love seeing all those little nine-patches come together! You're right - there's something soothing and satisfying about making nine-patches.

I wouldn't be getting any sewing done with your schedule this last week of school! Oh to be young and energetic again LOL!!! Your nine patches are looking very promising :*D

three more days to go - sounds like bliss. How long do you get off before you have to start all over again? Anyway enjoy you definitely sound as if you deserve it!

I know what you mean about sewing to relax. And, while relaxing you have something neat to show for it even if you don't use it right away.

Nice little nine patches, isn't it nice just to sit and sew? School year end is always so busy, I've just finished a term at the University and hoping to catch up on piecing and quilting over the next four months.
