August Fabric Giveaway

These are my blocks for August.  They got a little wrinkled waiting to get sewn together into a row.  I should be able to get that done today.  Believe it or not, it is fairly calm.  We have a tax holiday for back to school shopping, the girls definitely want to take advantage of that.
In celebration of the new month, we will have a giveaway of hand dyed fabric from Vicki Welsh.  Just leave a comment on this post to enter the drawing.

ooo! grey! I love grey! I'm hoping to get some neutral crummby sewing in sometime this week, but I'm not sure it will happen...

Would love to win some hand dyed fabric. I had little purple and after our month of purples, I have less than little. lol So I have 3 more colors to hit before I start thinking about turning these parts into quilt tops. So, I am using light green this month. I have yellow and red left to do, but thought you might be pulling those colors in upcoming months.

I adore Vicki's hand dyed fabrics. I can always use more of them. I have used them in several art quilts.

I'll be using up gray scraps in the little time I'll have to sew this month.

I usually take the grandkids shopping for school clothes. It's tax free weekend here too but I'd rather pay taxes and avoid the crowds so will take a day off during the week just to take them shopping. (I not only hate crowds...I hate shopping too!)

Vicki's hand-dyed fabrics are wonderful, aren't they? I am currently making a black/white/gray quilt for my daughter and this would be perfect to sneak in some more fabrics!

This morning's sewing was interrupted by a request for a skirt from the oldest. We dug through the stash, found a knit, and I have one less odd piece of fabric in my stash now!

Didn't have any grey and the green I had was too lime. Had a nightgown I never wore that was exactly the shade I wanted so that is what I used. Continuing the challenge to use only stash and no new purchases!

I love the greys in the giveaway gradient pack.
I haven't had a chance to dig for any fabrics in the August colors yet, but maybe this week.
