ScrapHappy Saturday - Veteran's Day Weekend

For those of us in the US, Friday was Veteran's Day.  For the kids that meant a day off of school.  We all went to Universal Studios as a family.  We have annual passes and usually go first thing in the morning and leave when it starts to get crowded.  Yesterday that was just after lunch.  Even after just half a day of theme park fun, the kids were all fast asleep on the way home.  It's been a busy week!  I think staying up late to watch the election results did us all in.

Hopefully you will be able to spend some of your extra time off in your sewing space.  Misterlinky is below, share your projects with us all.

Sounds like a fun Friday. Our kids didn't get the day off, so it was school as normal. But they do get the whole week of Thanksgiving off, which works so much better for most families who have family plans. Hope you get in some good stitching this weekend.

Sharing a recent flimsy finish -- colorful and oh, so scrappy. Happy weekending!

This month I finished the quilt with the blue and white blocks I started in January. Thank you for inspiring me to start and finish quilts through this challenge. I've linked up the quilt today.

I seem to need a break from social media but I'm still puttering away, cutting patches and sewing scraps. :-)
