Hawaii Sunset Blocks Together

It took most of the day to get these blocks together.  There was an unfortunate moment when the dog got very excited and started running around in circles.
So maybe all of the blocks didn't end up exactly where I wanted them, but at least I finally found them all.  Its a really good thing I love my dog.  Though she would also make a nice pot roast.  Just kidding.
Borders tomorrow?  Maybe.

The dark blue sashing just pops all the colour. Interesting corner detail.

Excellent Angela! It's super amazing how you, Andee and myself all have reached {almost} flimsies within weeks of each other. A little competition is always good, right??

Way to go!

Oh so pretty! Love how the blue just sets off all those pretty colors. Hope the dog is out of his timeout - My cats do the same thing - although all the blocks normally stay in the same room just all over the place =).

Wow! Sorry your dog decided to have free reign with your layout, but it still looks amazing. Happy Stitching.

This quilt is showing up here and there in blogland, and yours is definitely one of the beauties. I'm glad I located my pattern for it (luckily found in a pile of discarded magazines), as this has made its way onto my bucket list.
I enjoyed going back through your posts re: progress on it. You wrote about choosing fabric for it just 2 years ago. With all its parts, and with all the projects you work on, that's pretty good progress.
