Its been a long week and I am so glad to have made it to the weekend! My husband was in Japan most of the week and being a single mom is HARD! I'll be so happy to have help with the carpooling this weekend. I like having him around for other reasons too, but carpooling is pretty high on the list. I am hoping to find some time to turn these itty bitty nine patches into slightly bigger nine patches toady and maybe even make some churn dash blocks to alternate. What are your scrappy plans for the day? Use mister linky below to share your progress.

Good luck with your sewing plans. I'll probably can the last of the garden tomatoes and then play board games with the grandkids since it is a rainy day.
Now that your husband is back hopefully he will take over a few more tasks than carpooling so that you can have some time for yourself. I think you deserve it!
I am heading into my studio to sew up some orange scraps!!
I like your nine patches. Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing with them.

Love those itty bitty orange 9-patches! Can't wait to see the next stage. Orange is so much fun.
I just love orange...glad you have some help..
That is so true... being a single parent is very hard. Glad you have the reinforcements back to help with all the tasks of running a busy family and home.
Hope you get some stitching time in!
As a somewhat newlywed people ask if when we're going to have kids...as exciting as carpooling sounds, we might wait a little bit!
My RSC plans, today was to blog post my delightful winnings. I've got to get some customer quilting done, so might not be able to work in orange until later this week.
Can't wait to see how your orange 9 patch blocks turn out. Hubby is away here too on a hunting trip. Enjoying the time to have fun quilting and shopping.
Hope you get some sewing therapy as well as family together time!
That sounds like a full week! Here's to a break for all of you.
Be good to see what the Churn Dash and 9 Patch blocks look like placed alternatively.
Moved to orange yo-yo's from my scrap bins.
I can't wait to see what next month's color is!
