Green Circles in the Car

12 hours in the car gave me plenty of time to applique these 15 green circles.  It would have been more, but I quit when it got too dark.  It should have been 10 hours in the car, but wow was there traffic.  We are hanging out with Pops now.  People will start showing up on Wednesday or Thursday.  The ceremony is on Sunday.  Until then, we are just trying to be useful.  Pops would like us to sort through Nana's clothes and clear out some of her personal items.  Right now I'm doing laundry and hanging out with the dogs.

I can't do anything in the car without getting seasick :) What a great way to use your time

I'm sure he is very glad you are all up there. Enjoy your family time despite the circumstances. Your circles look great.
I got the quilt quilted today and a binding made. Time to snuggle under it tonight and get it stitched.

One thing at a time, it will all get done. Lovely greens - happy you can stitch in the car, I cannot.

So glad you are there to help in whatever way you can. I'm sure Pops appreciates it.

Sounds like a miserable trip for at least part of it, but you've got a lot to show for it. It's always hard to do the cleaning out part. Hopefully it brings to mind lots of good memories.
