Another Cancer Quilt, In Pink

I was hoping not to make any more cancer quilts for a while. Mom is getting ready to start chemotherapy though, and she would like a pink quilt to take with her. Sydney and Anna just helped me pull out some fabric and now they are drawing out some design ideas.  I am thinking hearts and ribbons.  Sydney would like some words to go with it.

So sorry to hear your Mum has to have chemo but it is good that you are able to make her a quilt. And words are a good idea. I am sure it wil be a great comfort to her as she will know it is stitched with lots of love!

This quilt will certainly comfort your Mum during her chemo...thinking of her. My uncle was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is leaning towards not taking chemo. It is a hard and stressful time for his family.

I am so sorry to hear your Mom has cancer. Sadly, it seems to touch everyone. My husband was diagnosed with colo/rectal cancer 4 yrs ago and when a family member receives such news it affects everyone.

Oh, I am sorry your Mom is dealing with cancer. I was out of the loop and missed it if you posted about it earlier. Girl, I have been there with my Daddy having lung and then bone cancer. You are a sweetheart to make this quilt and it will be such a comfort for her.

I'm sorry to hear your Mom has cancer. I'm sure this quilt will be a great comfort to her. When I was going through my chemo, my friends made me a quilt and they all signed it and put messages on it. I would sit and read each one as I was taking my chemo. I felt loved and comforted by this quilt and I still use it now. It is one of my favorite things and I remember how much it helped me through the experience. My thoughts and prayers go out to your Mom and your family.

The colors are wonderful pinks. Are you thinking word play words? I'm sorry your mom has to go through chemo, but thankful that it's a possibility for her.
