All the center blocks are done for my Dear Jane quilt, meaning I will make some triangles this weekend. I also have a good start on tiny nine patches from leftover subunits. I can't get over the range of shades of green. I keep thinking that there are lots of shades of green in nature and they all go together just fine. How are your greens going so far? Use the linky below to post your progress.
Oh my. You have been busy making all those cute Dear Jane green blocks. Like you, I had no idea thee were SO many shades of green until the RSC. Concentrating on a single color family each month has helped me learn about and fully appreciate each color.
Loving all those greens! Can I ask, when you start joining your blocks, will you do it by hand, or machine?
I am hand piecing an Irish chain quilt, but I'm wondering whether to join the long seams by machine.
Your blocks are lovely--can't wait to see them together! My greens are moving along--warts and all! Julierose

Your Janes in green are gorgeous!
I love seeing them all grouped together.
Wow look at all that green! I don't think I've seen a Dear Jane all in green yet. Can't wait to watch your progress with this one.
Wow great piles of green Jane blocks. They are all so cute. I need to do a birthday cake then maybe some green sewing.
Lots of great variety with your greens - love it!
I'm wondering why you use the plastic bags? It has to take extra time to bag and unbag...
Love your green blocks!
You are right there are so many shades of green. Love all your blocks.
You don't realize how many greens there are until you try to pull yardage for a project. Love all the diversity in your green blocks. Very pretty.
