ScrapHappy Saturday - Lighter side of Blue

I spent some time sorting through the 1.5 inch strips for postage stamp blocks.  These happy little guys are sets of 6 that have now been ironed and sub cut.  Maybe today I will put them together into blocks?  I hope to have some sewing time but first there is a lego meeting that I am supposed to run while Kurt is off helping to coach Ryan's football team .  I am trying to convince him that we are all over scheduled, but he isn't on board quite yet.  What scrap-happiness have you been up to this week?  Use misterlinky below to share your progress.

I jumped on board this Saturday. My scrap bin of blues is still literally stuffed. I need a quicker plan in using these up. lol

I have a little pile of light blues left to play with- some peels are in order this week! Hope you get some sewing time in. I'm trying to do a one sport per kid at a time. Soccer for the next 2 months for us.

I have a great affinity for this light blue and as I am sewing my sprouts I am thinking of the pale blue lace flower (scabiosa) that grow in my garden. Lots to do, and they will make a very restful spot in my spouts quilt. Quilt On!

I make my postage stamp blocks the crazy way...I sew individual pieces so I can have a charm quilt without duplicates.

Not much pale blue in my scraps so just used any blues this week. Point is that I used scraps.

Hope you live slows down a little one of these days. I remember those days when the kids were younger. It's nice just to have grandkids once in a while now!

"Over-scheduled"
LOL
It's so easy to get over-scheduled these days; specially when there are three children, and only two parents. Hope you found some time to get some sewing in.
I'd LOVE to get some in today, however I have to devote a few hours to school planning first, and then some time to put this house back together after the week of late nights (and a full day of garden-goodie processing yesterday).
Happy Sunday girl!

Lovely blue fabrics. I too have had little time for sewing this weekend, but I love looking at what everyone else is up too!
