I'm hanging out at home with Sydney ready to sew some binding.
Anna is off to the homecoming dance with River.
Ryan is going too, with a group of friends.
I was puttering around pondering whether or not to start a new project. A Farmer's Wife quilt along is going to start on Tuesday. I was thinking about joining in, but my book is the original Farmer's Wife quilt, and not the 1930s version. Still, I picked a few simple four patch blocks to play with this morning. For now I'll sew some binding and keep pondering.

Who cares if the book you have is not the updated version! You could still join in if you feel like it. Do it in 30's fabrics if you have any, otherwise, just do it in the fabrics you have.
Enjoy the peace of the empty house.
BTW the kids look gorgeous!
Enjoy your relaxed evening. Anna and her date look great.
To join or not......
the binding will be a good job done whichever way you decide!
Prom night! They grow up before you know it, don't they. What a proud mom you must be. Enjoy your quiet time, you deserve it.
Online quilt alongside are so tempting....you don't have to do thirties, of course. The kids look great...what a special time in their young lives.
Angela, I also have the original Farmer's Wife book and am ready to begin working on the quilt. Maybe we should do it together! I'd love to do the 30s one (I have a nice 30s stash) and am tempted to go buy the book just because the QAL is going on, but I'd really like to work on my original one first (in Civil War fabrics). Let me know what you decide -- I'll play along --- maybe we can even get a group together!
The four patch blocks looks pretty. I am back to my Farmer Wife Pony Club Quilt, but now I am alone and having fun.
Hugs
