ScrapHappy Saturday Goes Low Volume

Sometimes the light colors can feel a little left out of the rainbow fun.  So every so often, it is nice to give them a chance to come out and play.  This month will be all about trying to use up the light neutral scraps that you just haven't been able to rid of in a while.

Glad the storm fizzled out before it got to you, and that your roof is ready to go. Thanks for hosting our scrappy postings every week!

Glad the roof is fixed before the next storm sails in. Trying to find the shrubs and flower gardens this morning.... way too hot out... so afternoon will be relaxing with fabrics.

Thanks for the inspiration! I had a large bag of neutral strings and scraps which has now been reduced to a small bag.

First time I did neutral with the RSC I was stumped, this time I'm excited, I have so many neutrals to play with this month. Thanks!

This month will give me a chance to catch up on some UFOs. I am using neutrals as backgrounds so I will still be making bow tie blocks but not any for string quilts. Thanks for keeping us focussed on scraps!

Sometime I'm going to have to play with neutral scrapes, but not this year. My quilt doesn't have any neutrals in the plan. But since I haven't finished the yellow blocks, much less started on the blue ones, I could certainly use a month to catch up a bit.
