ScrapHappy Saturday - Finishing Up and Catching Up

I worked this summer on scanning in some of the photos which came to us when Kurt's mother passed away last winter.  This one is from Thanksgiving of 1988.  I met him for the first time in May of that year.  Everyone looks so young!
I hope those in the US are all finding some time on the long holiday weekend to squeeze in a little bit of sewing.  I've had some driving time, so handwork has been a nice companion.  No photos yet.  Hopefully you will all help fill the void with some fabric goodness or holiday cheer.

Old family photos are fun. We were talking with My Guy's family about our engagement photos and how much we've all changed after 20 something years of marriage. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend. Hope you get in some more time for hand stitching on the way home.

I love old photos! I'm the keeper of the photos here. Digital photos just aren't the same. And that reminds me that I was always going to make a Christmas scrapbook of all the old Christmas photos I could bring out at Christmas. Now that I'm retired it may become a reality!

Is that you in the photo Angela? A bunch of baby-faces! I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend and find a little time to hand-stitch.

Thank you so much for sponsoring the 2017 RSC. It kept me on track in making my 3" 9-patches and now I am seeing the quilt come together. All my nine patches are made, just a matter now of making the blocks and assembling the quilt. Thanks again, and if you do this again next year, I will be a follower again. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Teresa
