Sewing Sunday

Last night was our housewarming party.  It was a combination of my teacher friends and Kurt's engineer friends.  Here is a group of teachers past and present from my school.
Tom is Anita's husband and a Lutheran minister who gave a house blessing.
So nice to be able to see everyone outside of work and do a bit of catching up.  I was too busy to take and photos, so very happy that Anita sent some snapshots to me.
Today I plan to sew all day long.  I can't remember the last time that happened.  There is a new season of The Crown on Netflix.  I plan to start at season 1 again and go all the way through until I get to the new ones.  Happy day!

It looks like a relaxed crowd. Having sewing the day away today! I'll be looking forward to seeing what projects occupy your time.

I have been watching season 3 and am up to episode 10 which means almost done. I saw the queen and Prince Philip on their Golden Jubilee tour in Moncton New Brunswick. I also saw Princess Anne and Princess Margaret at the Royal show in Britain 1996. We sat in the box next to the royal box. My husband was judging a big cattle show so we got escorted around in fine style.
I like house blessings. We have often done them for friends.

I think I need to start watching that one. Maybe I'll put it on as I putter around picking up the house with breaks for sewing. Happy sewing today.

Enjoy your sewing day!
I am not enjoying season 3 of the Crown as much as the previous 2. It's slower moving, and I miss the character of Winston Churchill!
