ScrapHappy Saturday

Another week has zoomed past. We have now finished two full weeks of school and things are starting to settle into a routine. Days are busy, but all with good things. We had a nice trip to Sarasota last weekend to look at Anna's wedding venue.

Sydney has started her last year of college classes. Ryan is doing well at his new job and Kurt was travelling for work. This week I had a quick half day conference in Orlando and open house night at school.  I also finished sewing flags and wanted to bring my machine home from school, but it was pouring rain when I was coming home. That means that I can spend a bit more time hand stitching though and get some of the hexies that I prepped in the car put together. I hope that you are finding some time to sew as well. Believe it or not, there is still one more aqua Saturday in the month.

So glad to hear the school year is getting off to a good start! That's an interesting building in Sydney's picture - it looks like quilt blocks. Enjoy your hexie stitching this weekend!

You had a really busy week, Angela. Here's hoping the Sarasota venue was everything Anna wanted for her wedding! How is it Syd's final year of college already?!?! The time goes by so quickly.

You are an inspiration. Somehow you manage to travel from home to home to other destinations, meet family and work obligations, yet always manage to get some quilting in and post your blog. Those teal hexies are coming along nicely.

Ugh! Sorry that I accidentally added Week 35's link to this party.
