ScrapHappy Saturday -- Green Grass of Home

This is where I decided to head with the tiny nine patches that started as an Omigosh quilt.  Instead of the shoofly blocks with little on point four patches, I'm going with my own personal variation -- little churn dash variants.  There are a few little bits sitting next to the machine waiting for their turn, but this hasn't been my best week for sewing.  With school starting Monday there is lots to get done this weekend.  I hope you are all sewing though, and I hope to check in on everyone soon.
Use Mr. Linky below to share what you have accomplished so far with your greens.

Wow! Can't believe I am first! Hope you get a few minutes to sew this weekend but I know the first weekend before going back is very busy for teachers. Hope you have a wonderful school year. Your students are very lucky to have you.

Omigosh Churn Dash! What a nice variation. Those tiny 9 patch centres add some interest to a traditional block. Have a great school year!

Looking forward to seeing how this grows. Good luck with your first day back & the year ahead. What year do you teach?

Just love your variation! I will need to start thinking about what I'm doing with all my little 9 patch blocks soon.

Seven days of school in already! Seems like a wonderful group of kiddos this year. Even had a little sewing energy a few evenings this week.

Love what you have on your design wall. I've never been a big fan of blocks on point.
I don't see how you get so much done with kids, family and work. You go girl : )

Love your green 9 patch and churn dash blocks, the churn dash looks lovely with the 9 in the centre. How big are your tiny squares?

I'm moving along on my green hexies!
I do wish we had a heads up on future colors though so I could go ahead and organize my box by the colors. Not that I can't do that anyway....in fact, I think I will work on that this week :)
