We have just arrived at Syracuse for the start of Genius Olympiad. On the two flights so far these 9 orange peel blocks were stitched. It will be two hours until the next shuttle to SUNY Oswego, so I will get a few mire done today for sure. So glad that these were all prepped and ready to go. Now I feel that I am being productive rather than just waiting.

The perfect takealong project... you know I just love these!
Thanks for linking up especially since you are travelling!
Welcome to my neck of the woods! (I'm down here in the Finger Lakes!)
Did you prep enough for the flight home, too?
Great job! i usually take crocheting when I travel, because it doesn't take much light or much concentration! No sense is wasting all that time. Good Luck!
Love those blocks. This is going to be really beautiful. How many more do you need?
I love these types of blocks. What are you going to be doing with them???? I can hardly wait to see!
Did you use a template to cut them out and how did you attach them?
Beautiful applique for travel! You are in my old stomping grounds....our farm was just south of the Oswego Campus! Enjoy the scenery around there; the Lake region is stunning this time of year!
Wonderful way to spend your waiting time
Enjoy your time up there and all the green, green grass. you MUST take the shoes off and walk barefoot in it to feel the softness. I really miss that down here. Will be heading towards the beach the end of next week and the space center next Friday to hopefully see a launch! Enjoy those peels.... I think I need to make more next year!
I want to know... Do,you have a problem with needles, safety pins, or scissors in security? It's been long since I traveled, and we travel next week. I need a Sewing project!
What a beautiful set of colours! I don't think you'll notice the long waits at all, with this to keep you busy. Happy stitching!
I agree what a perfect thing to do while traveling...I just love these.
It really helps to have hand work at the airport during lay overs.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting!
