ScrapHappy Saturday - End of Red

Welcome to the last weekend of red! Just a few more days to finish off all the odds and ends. My red plans came to an abrupt halt last Saturday when Anna came home from college. Her bedroom is also my sewing space at the moment. She swears that she told us all when she would be back, but nobody had a clue! So hasty cleaning was inspired. Since then I have been happily hand stitching some red hexies to round out the month. Now she wants some more facemasks for camp, so I will have to haul the machine down to the family room for a quick sewing session.
We used date night last night to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary.   It is nice to be able to go out and start doing normal things again.

Tuesday we had teachers over to celebrate the retirement of two of our science teachers.   Linda and Paula are both done.   I think the official count is 8 teachers so far from our school, but there are lots of rumors of others who are making other plans.  It has been a hard year in the classroom.  It is going to take a long time to recover from all of this for everyone associated with the school system.
We do have a vacation coming up, so I will mention now that June will be purple!  I know that some of us have been anxiously waiting for it to come up and I can't wait to see a new color.

Happy Occasion Day, Angela!! We celebrated a Double Celebration Day earlier this month. Enjoy your visit with Anna and your vacation! I'm not quite finished with RED, as I still need to do my Full Stop block. Looking forward to digging in my PURPLE scrap basket!

It's great you could really celebrate your anniversary and birthday. Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. Ours is next Wednesday! I'm glad you were able to switch gears and move your sewing area once again. But it's what we parents do, isn't it? Hexies and then a vacation seem like the perfect remedy!

Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. As far as the teacher retirements go, I suspect both the teaching and nursing professions will be facing shortages in the next few years. Hurray for purple. I was going to restart RSC in July, but may just have to do it in June as purple is my favorite color and I have lots of purple scraps.

Happy birthday and anniversary! I can only imagine how hard this school year was. It was nuts everywhere in the schools. Ugh! Yay for being able to get together and celebrate. Looking forward to purple!

Happy belated birthday and anniversary. I'm behind on my red blocks (and didn't even get started on April's blocks). I haven't had much sewing time lately. Hopefully I'll get caught up before the summer is done. Teaching is such a hard job, but throwing online teaching in the mix, and it's double hard. Hopefully next year will be easier for the teachers and the students.

Happy belated birthday and anniversary! Just a few months late but sending good wishes your way. I put quilting on the back burner for a couple months and am now playing catch up. Hopefully, I can get June and July colors done soon and I'll be all caught up. Yea!

Hello, everyone! I'm here to explore blogs and forums about the wonderful and most safe cure for (Herpes Virus). I was positive about the deadly virus called herpes and I lost hope because I was outcast and rejected even by my closest friends. I searched on-line to know an enquirer cure for Herpes and I read someone's testimony on how he was cured from Herpes so I decided to contact the same herbalist because I know that nature has the power to heal everything. I contacted him to know how he can help me and he told me never to worry that he will heal me with the natural herbs from God! After 2 days of contacting him, he told me that the cure has been ready and he sent it to me via DHL and it got to me after 3 days! I used the med as he instructed (MORNING and EVENING) and i was cured! it's really like a dream but I am so happy! That's the reason I decided to also add more comments on Him so that more can be saved just like me! and you can get in touch with him via email chiefdrlucky@gmail.com or WhatsApp +2348132777335 Kindly visit website https://chiefdrluckyherbaltherapy.wordpress.com/
