Happy July

Today is a brand new month.  For those of us here in the US, that means red, white and blue.  If you live somewhere else, feel free to use your own patriotic combination for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.  I've been eying Goose in the Pond from Bonnie's new book, it would look great with the 9 patches I've been working on for a while.  What have you got on the back burner?  Anything in red, white or blue?

Mmmm, my colours too of course. And I've gathered yet more red and blue scraps since finishing those months, so I must get my thinking cap on. But it will have to be something with a UK feel rather than a USA feel of course, and there's not so much of that about.

Snap with Amanda :) I'm in the UK too... so it's blue red and white! I could do an extra blue block and a red block for my Rainbow scrappy.... And it just so happens I have something started in R,B and white....I'll post it tomorrow ;))
Thank you for doing this challenge Angela. Elly

Hmmmm - thinking cap is on - red and white and blue are our flag colours here in Australia but our national colours are green and gold (we like variety) so I may do either! Or maybe I will just cheat and sew in Aussie fabric scraps as I have lots of those and need to make things to send to the Aussie Embassy in Ireland for an Aussie made stall at a charity Bazaar - long story read my blog if you can stand it! Decisions, decisions!

I am so happy I will be able to participate this month. I live in Canada and our colours are red and white and today happens to be our birthday - Canada Day.

Yes! The BOM from last year is going to be my project to tackle and finish up this month for Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I'll have to wait until after the 4th, though....heading to my sister's for the Holiday weekend.

i just ordered a cute americana folksy art fabric bundle of FQ's but have no idea what to make of it. I have no quilts to make for others. Maybe one for myself? lol

Last month I made a table runner of red, white and blue with my scraps and stash from a tutorial I saw on a blog. Think I might sneak that one in for July and then make something else for the challenge. I have plenty of red, white and blue scraps/stash.

I have such a mess of pieces in my scrap bin. I think MAM blocks are in order again this month. Where is Mr. Linky?

I have 3 red white and blue quilts in my UFO pile. This will give me a push to get them done, and out of that pile!
