ScrapHappy Saturday Green Again

I did a bunch of catching up and getting ahead before school started again on Wednesday.  9  Carat Diamonds didn't get very far last year.  Red was January, and after that I have plenty of nine patches, but not a lot of finished blocks.  Green has now been added to the collection.

And because I don't only do rainbow scrappy quilts, I also pulled out this very old UFO which was a block of the month sampler that I got on sale at some point from Connecting Threads.  I think that all the blocks are done now, so it is just a matter of sewing them all together.  Working from a kit really makes me miss my happy and scrappy blocks, but it will be nice to empty out a project bin.

Looks like you are sewing up a storm! It is a nice feeling to move projects along. Hope the start of school went well. My kids are so happy to be back in the routine.

Good luck on emptying that bin! (I seem to just keep buying more bins...)

I'm on track again on the scraps. I started out with making some new fabric from tiny scraps. So fun.

Trying to add my blogpost to your Linky. Failing dismally, seems to have changed since 2019.

Love your 9 Caret Diamond blocks. Looks like you've gotten back into the sewing groove. Hope you can keep stitching along once the semester gets going.

Thanks for organising the RSC. It's the first time I've joined in and it's been good to work through my green scrap bin. Not sure the lid is any easier to close though!

I like your diamonds!
I wasn't sure I was going to get a block I liked out of my puny green scraps, but I finally did, and now I'm on a roll. ;) Thank you for organizing this!
Like others, I thought I had a problem posting my link, but when I reloaded the page it was there!
