I spent the last two days at school helping to get teachers trained on tools to use for distance learning which starts next week. Even the teachers who don't usually use technology have jumped right in with enthusiasm in figuring out how they can keep teaching while the kids are locked in at home. It was great, but so exhausting! We could only be in small groups sitting 6 feet apart and the custodians had to come in and sanitize everything between sessions. I took this one last photo of my classroom just in case I don't see it again for a while.

Teaches all over the country are working overtime trying to keep their students on the learning track. Ironically I teach 3 online courses for high school students and ony half of my students have done any work in the 2 weeks since schools closed here in SD. I’m a little concerned that some of those may not have good access at home.
Talked to my neighbor today - from my porch - and her 2 HS age kids spend about 2 hours on school work and then go hang out with their friends. Guessing they just aren’t taking this seriously. I was disappointed to hear that.
Yes I think ALL our sewing rooms will be getting a good workout.

I'm glad to hear that teacher's are whole-heartedly embracing the net as a tool to teaching - which is paramount at this time. We live in a more rural area and I know there are many families that do not have access to the internet. I wonder how they will be affected.
