Still Moving Forward

Sydney seems to be feeling better.  She is not happy about having to quarantine, but I have convinced her that she should make the best of it and try to enjoy some quiet time to relax.  She started trying to crochet this morning but did not get very far.  She did paint her nails, give herself a facial and find a new series to stream.  Not a bad day overall.  I sewed together the extra OMG blocks into a flimsy that I have decided to call LOL.  That helped break up spurts of cleaning and sanitizing that help me feel like I am doing something productive.
I was late to the sunrise this morning.  I wish I could say that it was because I was up at 4 for the rocket launch, but I slept right through that too.
While still n the mode of using up extras, I pulled out a bag of random 26 patches which I am starting to play with now.  I think I will randomize the fat pink and skinny green strips and call this one Chopsticks.  It is quite relaxing to just play with layout and design knowing that everything was leftover from some other project of long ago.

Happy to hear she's doing better. Love the 16 patch layout. I'll have to make one or two quilts using 16 patches. I have so many squares in 2" and 2.5". Take care. ;^)

I'm glad you were able to destress a bit, Angela. The new quilt top looks awesome and the layout for Chopsticks is looking good, too! Glad to hear that Sydney is feeling better.

So glad Sydney is feeling better. Think she would like hand stitching or counted cross stitch? Latch hook rug kits? Plain old adult coloring pages? Glad she found a new series to watch... that might take up a day or two! Hope the fabric play allowed a little relaxation for you. Our numbers are up again but nothing like your numbers. Hoping you have a healthy week.

Glad she is feeling better, it is always stressful when loved ones get ill. She is doing something creative, best way to recover and feel better. I just love that you have renamed Omygosh with LOL! Have a wonderful week.

I hope that you are still healthy. We've been praying for a young lady (future daughter in law) of friends of ours. The wedding was supposed to be Aug 21st, but the bride got Covid, then the groom. The groom is doing well, but the bride is on a ventilator, and last week the doctors said that there was nothing else they could do. Prayer is working, and she has finally stabilized, but it's still a day to day thing.

Poor Kid - Its funny how when your super busy you think - oh I could totally handle days off to just chill - then when you get them - its just not what you expected. Good for her for finding things to do.

LOL looks great!!!

As an ICU nurse, of an amazing 38yrs long career bearing witness to God's great love for us, I know what a medical miracle is!
The first time that I saw an HIV patient cured with African herbs prepared by Dr. Utu Herbal Cure was in my 20yrs of nursing career, I felt God's presence with humans. He guides those he has chosen to live. I am a complete believer in God and I can testify he is so wonderful that he has given us all it takes to survive and save our surroundings!
I have recommended DR UTU HERBAL CURE to HERPES VIRUS patients, PSORIASIS patients, and many others who have come to me for remedy and they ALL confirmed to have been permanently healed.
