I should have mentioned that dark and bright blues will be the color for January this year. I have SO many blues that they don't all fit into a bin together. Hopefully we will be able to start strong. As I was roaming around blogs this morning, many people seemed hesitant about starting a whole new list of projects. If you still have leftover block collections and works in progress, you can also just "assign" a color to each of them and work during that month of getting a specific quilt closer to completion. You could tie it in based on backing or binding color or whatever criteria you decide. The main goal for RSC is to make it work for you! If that means a finishing year instead of a starting year, then that is great too.

I have a quite a few of the RSC tops to continue on hope to do a lot of the monthly colors to complete them
Exactly what my intentions are! A finishing year! I’m glad you are good with that! I likes Cathy’ post about binding and backing, whatever fit the color!
Sounds great, Angela! I'm ready to do both - sew new blocks and have finishes, too!
Thank you, Angela, for the beautiful new RSC2023 button. I'm looking forward to both starting and finishing RSC quilts this year! Happy New Year!
I am definitely working with blues this month.. I’m on track to link up…
Thank you for hosting the RSC23, we are all so excited and will be creating beautiful quilts along the way. Omygosh would not be a flimsy now, if it was not for RSC21 & RSC22. A few projects are waiting in the wings, blue is a dominant colour for one, so that one will be started in January. Have an awesome 2023!
Happy New Year... and thank you...

Happy New Rainbow Year!
Thank you for the suggestion Angela, you've given me an idea: 2019 block collection here I come!
I'm looking forward to starting up one of my older projects that still needs blocks.
Thanks for hosting again this year. It's always fun and inspirational. Love the new button!
Continuing to add to old RSC projects was exactly what I had planned to do. I also have at least three with finished blocks that I want to get made into tops (or dare I dream it, finished!). You are the quilting challenge hostess with the mostest!
Too late for that, Angela. I've already started some new projects, haha. Thank you for hosting this fun challenge every week. Here's to another productive year! Enjoy! ;^)
I started a pineapple quilt two years ago with the RSC and am continuing into 2023 with it. I hate taking the papers out but only making 4 six inch blocks a month make the process painless. Hope to finish by the end of the year!
Thank you Angela. Look forward to joining in again this year.
Oh I just realized I meant to follow your color of the month...but did someone else...hmm I know blue is on her list too so I might switch over and do yours...I've made over a dozen "pink" blocks. I might wait and do blue later...
