I got the last set of blocks up and on the wall before kids started rushing home for the holidays.
I tried it two ways. Definitely leaning toward rainbow rows on this one. We realized when Anna brought her boyfriend home with her that we didn't actually have enough beds for everyone. Poor Sydney is on an air mattress with a halfway remodeled bathroom lacking a door.
It was a late morning today after two work Christmas parties yesterday. Just three more short days at work before the break.

Pretty blocks! Rainbow rows are definitely the way to go. Love the sunrise over the ocean.
Sounds like your house is a work in progress just like many of our quilts are! I bet your kids don't mind - they're just happy to be home for the holidays. Your bullseye blocks make a beautiful rainbow!
The rainbow setting is best. I'm a little confused though; is it one quilt or two? If this is one quilt, it looks HUGE! Enjoy the company. ;^)
It should be a memorable holiday then. My Guy's parents didn't have central heat and air, just a wood burning stove. It was so cold one Christmas before we got married that I slept in the floor in the living room with the rest of the family. It was memorable. T
The rainbow rows version is my favorite too.
Enjoy your upcoming break, Angela! Regarding your quilt, you can't go wrong no matter how you set those cheerful blocks.
Both versions look great! the yellow draws the eye in the 1st layout, could just be my eyes😁I guess with my layouts a lot too, every yr. I say I'm going to make it simple, maybe one big block a month ,maybe quilt as I go but it always ends up a fussy quilt with lots of fussy blocks 🤣
Beautiful block collection! I agree- rainbow rows will be awesome. Merry Christmas to you and your family. :o)
What fun to have everyone home for the holidays! I bet you will be surrounded with laughter! Your blocks look great.
Sounds like you’ll have a Christmas filled with love, laughter and plenty of memories 🎄😉
