Last Blue Saturday!

Blue is just one of those colors that doesn't end.  After a full month of making lots of great blocks, the drawer seems to still be full.  Somehow it is the magic of scraps that new blocks can keep coming out year after year.
There are still some larger bits to use on a few more Dear Jane blocks, I think that will be the plan for today.  How about you?  Technically there are still two more days to try to finish up the last of the blues before a brand new color is announced.  I'll do the big reveal post tomorrow along with the fabric giveaway for February. Be sure to check back.  Today though, share the last of your blue blocks with us all.

Still got heaps of blue scraps despite a bit of scrappy sewing this week. Oh well! There's always next year. LOL

I really have to play with blue for weeks to come. I've decided to make a whole blue quilt from my blocks. Will link later today to better show you how this is meant to be.

I still have some blue scraps but mostly fairly small so they can wait to build up again. I'm pretty stingy in what I call a scrap so they do tend to end up being mostly small pieces!

I was playing around with a few ideas for future scrappy quilts and was distressed/disappointed/slightly relieved to find over half of my scraps at this point are blue. Maybe I can use it as a background for something next year!

Blue's month may be winding down, but blue is good ALL the time in my world. It's been a fun and busy month.

Blue is one color I'm not short on scraps. Hope you get in some good stitching time this weekend.

I had no idea how much blue I had. Thanks for the inspiration. Can't wait to see February's color and start digging.

I never realized I had so many blues in my stash, or that many blue scraps. I will say that doing this encouraged me to cut into my stash a bit too instead of saving it for posterity.

This scrap challenge attracts me but I can't seem to make myself do it. I'll keep thinking and maybe join in one of these months. Thanks for hosting, month after month. It's been fun to see what others are doing as I look at the link-ups.
