Yay for Yellow!

Is anyone else desperately ready for a bit of cheer amongst all the really scary happenings in the world?

I feel ready to lock myself in the sewing room and stream something happy while digging into some bright and sunny scraps today.   We are nearing the end of the year and I am already starting to make a list of what blocks need to get caught up so that I can start finishing up some quilts in the next couple of months.

I'm looking forward to yellow ! Not sure how many scraps I have, but I'll give it a go. This year's quilt is all the same pattern, Crossed
Canoes, but of course in all the RSC colors.

Me I'm desperate! Yellow and golden yellow are perfect for me right now... what a relief.
(I only wish yellow could stop the noise in my head, slow down the anxiety about my country and the virus, allow me to sleep peacefully without nightmares again)

I lock myself in my sewing room every day. At least for a little while! :o))
I hope your weekend was more than just making lists, Angela. Did you get to sew, at all?

Thinking of you as you go to work each day. Locking yourself in the sewing room to play with your yellow scraps is a great way to escape the pressures and stresses of this time.

Yellow is such a happy color! I will be going back to my yellow pieced quilt in honor of Yellow Month, but in the meantime, I added my current quilt since it does have yellow in it.

So happy to see yellow! It was my mother's favorite color, so it always makes me think of her.
