ScrapHappy Saturday - Blowing thru Blue

I am slowly chipping away at light and bright blues, but the sewing time has been limited lately.

Lacrosse season ended on Thursday with a loss in the district championship match.  We played most of the season down two players to injury, and another two to COVID, so not a lot of players to sub in.  Sydney was out for a month with mono, but she was able to come back for the last two weeks when most of the games were going on.  There will be a lot more open time in the evenings now that we are done with that.
The big job for the weekend will be trying to finish stripping down the balcony railing in preparation for new paint
The sun is up and Sydney is off to take the ACT, so we are ready for a morning beach walk.
Then when we get back, I have some more Sister's Choice blocks to add to the wall.  What are your weekend plans?  Share with us all below.

Starting the day with a beach walk and that view sounds wonderful! Have a great weekend - sounds like it will be a busy one.

How nice to see that lovely photo of Sydney's team. Lots of pretty blues in your stash it seems. Hope the beach walk went well, I say green with envy. Mind you my wooded trails are also nice. :)

I'm so glad to hear your daughter was able to return for the end of the season. My oldest missed the last month of track one year - after her relay team had qualified for state. It broke her heart to watch them run at the state track meet without her.

Your sister blocks are awesome. I'm glad your daughter was able to play. . .the youth and those that live alone have been affected the most with this pandemic. It makes me smile to hear of "normal" activities happening.
