I found some time last night to finish off the blue blocks! Monday was a school holiday. Nobody was quite sure why. A Google search turned up Confederate Memorial day, but that can't be why there was no school. In any case, I enjoyed the opportunity to clean up a lot of crumbs and moved my sewing supplies out of Ryan's room and back into Anna's room again. Ryan is done with his last exam on Friday and we will pick him up for the summer on Sunday. Anna will be away at summer camp again this year, so her room will be available for sewing space once again.
The moon isn't quite as beautiful as the sunrise in my opinion, but any chance to go out and breath fresh air is good. Kurt was out of town for an entire week on business! He hasn't been anywhere in well over a year, so he actually enjoyed traveling again. We have a vacation scheduled for June and that will be a whole new world!
So many beautiful blue blocks.
so many blocks and all looking good
Love your design wall all in blue, and also your sun and moon photos above the ocean, Angela! Sounds like school is starting to wind down for the year - bring on summer!
Blue, blue and more blue! Wonderful design wall.... it’s been overcast here so haven’t really seen the pink moon. But this morning i was up at3:20 and the moon was brilliant! Yay, for summer travel!
Pretty blues - you are lucky to have such pretty sunrises every day. Is Anna headed back to Maine for summer camp? Nice that you will 'keep' a sewing area this summer. I wonder what color May will bring.....
You have such a beautiful collections of blue blocks--they will make such lovely quilts...hugs, Julierose
What a gorgeous view! Glad you were able to enjoy that day off.
Beautiful blue blocks. We haven't seen the sun or moon for about one week due to heavy rain. Love your view.
Your design wall looks amazing with all of the blue blocks that you have been working on. Happy quilting.
Your Desing wall is beautiful all in blue.
Congrats on a productive weekend, Angela, but not even a tiny hint as to the new Color of the Month...
Your blue blocks are all so wonderful. There are a couple there I’d like to try! It’s nice that you’ll have a sewing room this summer, and I’m sure that Anna will enjoy camp again. But every mom knows there will be a little hurting spot in your heart from missing her! ((Hugs)).
Your design wall looks so wonderful ! Wont you hate to replace them next month?
Great blues, Angela! I know you'll miss Anne but at least you still have some sewing space. I did enjoy the pink moon although it was quite hazy here. I totally agree -- sunrise is the BEST!
Everyone gets out at night and enjoys the pink moon.
