The end of the year at Rainbow Scrap Challenge is all about finishing up. Putting block collections together into flimsies and then turning flimsies into finished tops. For us, the end of the year started with a quick weekend in the mountains to visit fall weather. Step 1 was finding the driveway. There are a few fall leaves to deal with.
The neighbor called to ask for help in getting the last of the kiwis in before the first frost.
That lead to a loaf of kiwi bread. It is jut like banana bread, but with kiwis. Yum!
I think we have a hike planned for this mornign and some work on a wrapping the deck around the front of the house. How is your Saturday shaping up?
Mister linky is here, looking forward to seeing the begining of your end of year quilts.

Looks like some beautiful fall weather in your mountains! I've never made kiwi bread, but it sounds yummy. Have a great weekend!
I did know we could grow kiwis in the US. Surprise! Kiwi bread sounds fantastic!
Glad to see that you found time for a mountain getaway, Angela. Enjoy and safe trip home!
I hadn't realized kiwis grew in Florida. I was first introduced to them in Sydney, Australia and think of them as coming from New Zealand. Lucky you to have a neighbor who not only grows them, but shares them. Kiwi bread is totally new to me. Sounds delicious.
