RSC Sampler - Domino Net

This is another nine patch variation. Two squares are traditional nine patches while the other two are simpler versions.
You will need 6 strips for the nine patches.  They are all 1.5 inches wide.

The dark, light dark section only needs 2 subunits, so each strip (two dark and one light) should be at least 3 inches long.
The light, dark light section need 4 subunits, and so the strips for this(two lights and one dark) should be at least 6 inches long.
In addition to the nine patch subunits, you will also need:
light green print = 2 squares 2.5 inches each
medium green print = 4 rectangles 2.5 by 1.5 inches each
dark green square = 2 squares 1.5 inches each
Sew the short strips together light, dark light
Sew the long strips together dark, light dark
Sub cut all of the strip sets into 1.5 inch sections.  You will need 6 total subunits.
Arrange the sections as shown and sew.  Press the finished nine patches.
For the other subunit, you will need to sew a rectangle to one side of the light green square.  Sew a small dark square to one end of the other rectangle.  Repeat for each square.
Sew the long rectangles to the squares so that the dark squares form the other corner.  Press toward the larger square.  Before sewing the four subunits together, check the seam allowances on the back.  Depending on how you pressed your nine patches, you might want to rotate the blocks a bit before the sewing is done.
Here is your finished block.  The nine patches should be in alternate corners while the alternate squares should have the dark corners facing out.

One thing about these sampler blocks, I'm getting better at handling smaller pieces.
