After looking at the photo of the Bonnie Hunter inspired bowtie blocks in diagonal rows on the design wall, I thought about trying out some different block arrangements. I don't have quite enough blocks yet for a quilt top, so a little rearrangement isn't holding anything up at this point. I kind of like the circle effect, maybe tomorrow I'll try some zig zags just for fun?
While I was in the sewing room, I went ahead and quilted just a few feet on the Scraphappy Squares. The nice thing about having a quilt on the frame is that you can do "drive by" quilting. A few minutes here and a few minutes there...

Wow! such a different look from the same blocks! Quilt making is an amazing craft, isn'tit?
I love that "drive by" quilting idea. Since I have to walk to the garage at the other end of the house to use mine, I tend to just go there and stay!
I love the concept of "drive by quilting"!!
LOL Drive by quilting. Hadn't heard that one before. I so need a frame so I can do drive by's daily!
Ha, ha, I love it...Drive by quilting!
I like the setting on the bowtie. I don't remember what this setting is called but it's one of my favorites for the bowtie.
I love the idea of "drive by quilting"! What system are you using?
Which long arm machine do you use? I'm thinking Santa might want to know...
I LOVE IT! Very nice indeed!
Your bow ties are great. I got some cheddar with good intentions, but haven't started yet.
