ScrapHappy Saturday - Aquamarine Bliss

Aqua and teal are such relaxing and peaceful colors.  Such a shame I don't have a peaceful and relaxing month to go with them.  Just two more weeks of school before spring break!  I think I can make it.  I hope you have all come up with lots of lovely blocks for us all to enjoy, because thinking wistfully about teal while driving someone to practice or picking them up is as close as I've come to being productive this week.

Wow! I'm never first! I think I'm going to hit a quilt shop or two in my travels today. =) Need more teal!

Busy and stressful month at work for me too. I have to find time to sew to alleviate all that stress. Good luck to you on finding time for yourself!

Just noticed your "please comment" -- whoops, I haven't been doing that each week, sorry. Hang in there till break!

I know what you mean about "thinking wistfully"; sometimes it feels like my only quilt time is daydreams!

At least you have a very good excuse for not managing any stitching :) My kids are all grown up and left home. I've only just managed to squeeze in something and that was mainly done last weekend but I was so late in finishing I thought I'd keep it for this weekend. Fingers crossed that we both manage to fit a little more in this coming week! I hope you are having a few relaxing moments this weekend. :)

Life seems too busy for me as well right now. I've actually taken this next week off from one of my jobs so that I can get my customer quilts done (I'm a long-arm quilter). I was so glad to have a little time last night to sew up my little turquoise hearts. Hang in there Spring break is soon.

As far as the school term goes you're nearly at the finish; hang in there. Work-wise things sometimes just go in leaps and bounds.

Hope you can find some calm time to stitch. Drama Teen is back from State Science Fair and that's the last of the big projects for the year. Big sigh!

I haven't done aqua/teal yet but I have done some blocks.
Really need to spend some time stitching

I'm having so much fun playing in the different colours each month. Thanks for hosting and giving the motivation. I hope you get some play time soon.

Sometimes it's just impossible to squeeze in time for quilting, isn't it? I hope things settle down for you soon and you have some time to play with your teal scraps.

I worked on some of the blocks yesterday but didn't get to post about them. It's hard to squeeze time in to sew, work on the computer, grandkids and everything else. I know exactly how you feel but we all have to juggle our time around. Just always make time for you. I'm trying to catch up and I'm really enjoying the blocks you have picked out. I hope you get to play more...
