I hope you have made a dent in your blue scraps this month. I know I have. Last Sunday I spent quite a bit of time turning 1.5 inch strips into this pile of postage stamp blocks. Each one is a 36 patch. Some will go together to make giant framed blocks and some I will save to use "as is".
Carla was the winner last time and she has already had the courage to start using hers in some great looking pickle dish blocks. If you don't win this time, please be sure to try again next month. It is so great to have the push to use my scraps. I have nearly finished a bag of BLUE's... Not all of them. I have got to finish some more pot holders & oven mitts. They are nearly up to the binding stage. Other colours got in the way. My mums green bag was one of them. What could I do... It is her birthday.

Oh no - I forgot this is the last Saturday in blue! I'll be plugging away trimming up and making more churn dashes and hexie flowers this week. Florida (transplant from chilly Vermont)
I have enjoyed January's blue clearance, although I think as much has come in as has gone out! (Last Saturday was the clearance sale at my local quilt shop.)

I think the giant framed blocks will make a great rainbow quilt.

My piles of odd shaped blue scraps has dwindled and my bags of strips have all gotten a bit fatter. I was wondering last night what to do with all the strips, your postage stamp blocks have inspired a use for my bag of 1.5" strips.

I love your blue blocks. This year will be iffy for me as to how much I can participate, but it's for sure that I'll be checking out everyone's projects and enjoying vicariously. The RSC is such a good idea. I'm here in Florida with you, and I'm enjoying the cooler weather.

I am so glad I jumped in and joined the RSC2014. I went from starting one quilt to two. I don't have anything to share this Saturday but I am looking forward to what February will bring. So excited to see what the next winner will do with her Vicki color wheel hand dyes, they are so gorgeous!

I'm having a blast playing with blue scraps this month. I'm one of the new ones playing along, and am now wondering why I didn't do this sooner. I'm in London Ontario, a city about 2 hours south of Ellen's little town. And it's just as cold and wintery here, too. I was supposed to be going out this afternoon to a quilt show planning meeting, but it was cancelled. Means more time for sewing blue scraps.
I am enjoying this challenge and I am very excited about finding out what color is next.

I'm in New Zealand and I'm having so much fun making the sampler blocks. Yesterday I sorted piles of pinks and greens from my big scrap bag so if February's colour is either of those I'll be set.
I am back to the Rainbow scrap challenge. It feels so good to be back. I am from Leduc Alberta not far from Edmonton Alberta. We are very wintery here but I think Friday we were warmer than Huston TX. We have had melting temperatures this past week.

I was able to use a lot of my blue scraps and old stash during January. Amazingly enough, I still have a ton of blue scraps. I can't wait to make a dent in my pink scraps in February.
