Dear Jane Center Blocks Done

Finally had a chance to finish sewing the center blocks together for Dear Jane.  Yesterday was spent on a family outing to Ikea, but today was a rainy home day.   Now that the blocks are together, I need to take everything down and get the sewing room turned into the guest bedroom again.  It was a year and a half to finish the center, I wonder how long to finish the border blocks?

Beautiful! I have the book, but it has been collecting dust for several years. It is on my retirement list -- as in, one day! Thank you so much for the inspiration.

Really lovely! I don't remember how long it took Jane Stickle to finish her quilt, but hey - it's all about the journey, right?!

WOW! That is fabulous. It's not a race so you have lots of time for that border.

However long it takes - or quit now. I love the look of the flimsy. Beautiful.

Congratulations! Your centre is a joy to behold. I am sure you will enjoy doing the border. Have you decided yet what sort of fabric to use for the kites?
