I am really loving these rainbow sampler blocks! 6 inches is such a quick and versatile size. It is fun to see other people making the same blocks in different fabrics. It is amazing how well they all work together just because they are blue. I know there are lots of other blue projects going on this month. Last week we had a great showing!
Use the linky below to share your progress with blue. Be sure to visit other people and enjoy their fabulous blocks.
Happy Saturday Angela and everyone :) Angela, your blue scrappy blocks are looking wonderful! Looking forward to seeing everyone else's blue scrap projects.
Your blocks are coming along really nicely. I need to find some lighter blue scraps.
I've enjoyed seeing what other people have been up to with their blue scraps. I'm hoping to feel well enough in the next day or so to dig out some blue scraps and join in the fun. I particularly like the scissor holder, very useful.
Your 6" sampler blocks look great together. It is fun to see everyone's version in their own fabrics.
One of the things on my "blue" list is finished!!
Still more to come before the month ends.
Very fun checking to see what others are doing with their scraps . . .
I love your idea to make sampler blocks!!! They are looking so darn cute!!! It would be so much fun to sew along, but I really want to get the owls and kitties done this year :*)
I really like your blue sampler but I still after all these years have not completed the Farmer's Wife Sampler so won't sew along this year. I made plans to use the various sized scraps in different ways.
Your blue blocks look great!
Happy Saturday ANgela...I'm not good with small blocks...so appreciate the work that has gone into your sampler blocks...all the blues together look great! Thanks for the RSC!!! (Love it!!)
Look at you go!!! That 36 patch one has to be really really tiny pieces!!
Cute 6.5" sampler blocks, Angela : )
I love this rainbow challenge. It's fun to make a few blocks from scraps each week. Doesn't take a lot of time. At the end of the year it's easy to pull those blocks and sew them together for a quick, colorful quilts. It feels like a free quilt!
I'm wondering why I didn't start doing this years ago. It busts fabric and scraps, and is tons of fun. Thanks for hosting and inspiring.
Am really enjoying the whole process of sharing progress on using up those scraps.
I've made 4... having lots of fun! Hopefully I'll get caught up next week - your directions are so easy to follow BTW. Thanks for the inspiration.
I'm really enjoying the sampler blocks - thanks for all the fun!
thank you, I am so glad I came across this challenge - I have been looking for a way to start using my scraps :)
I love seeing all the blue. Your little six blocks look great!
Posting for the first time! Can't wait to see what every one does with their blocks by the end of the year.
I like both the 'assigned' blocks and the 'do your own thing' blocks. Over the year I plan to do some of each. The 6-inch Ohio Star is probably next on my list. I have my favorites. :-) Your blocks are looking good.
Love to see what sort of scrappy projects we are all working on and looking forward to the colour for February!
WOW, it is great to see all the blue projects. Thank you again for another year of Rainbows.
Lots of wonderful things being made in blue this week!
This was fun! I hope to have more Saturdays like this one...just playing in blue fabric! Fun to see all the other 'blues"
Just got the time to put up my link. Wow, everyone has been in the Blues & busy. Well done
This is my first ever link up with the rainbow scrap challenge and I'm looking forward to a fun year scrappy year.
As you can guess from my blog name, I love blue and thus have a ton of blue scraps! This is my first link up with the RSC. I didn't get a lot done this week, but I got started! Everyone's projects look so good. Love your little 6" blocks - they look so cute all in blues!
